Short essays based on my favorite quotations. |
“We need to observe ourselves as we work, not just to look at what is happening, where the work is taking us, because if we cannot observe and really notice what is taking place, how will we ever see the connection between what we are doing and where it is leading us?” James Krenov
Here are my favorite excerpts of several of his books. Very inspiring and thought provoking.

I was working with a plant that needed a better
means to communicate and track their strategic plan
to all employees (office and shop floor). They needed
an organized and concise manner to list the items
and also wanted to be able to show progress. Their
list of items was quite extensive. I orgranized
and grouped them and chose a "wagon wheel"
as the means to communicate the plan. A larger version
of the document was made and placed on the shop
floor in various places. Progress was indicated
by shading the partcular item as a per cent complete.
The method worked very well.
