da Vincian Principles
This list below comes from Michael Gelb's book
on how to think like da Vinci. This is a wonderful
list of principles to follow and reflect upon. I will
continue to update this page with thoughts on what
these principles mean to myself, to being a good manager,
a good person, and how one may use these to inprove
oneself. Please read Mr. Gelb's book for a his guidance
on making the most of what we can learn from Leonardo
daVinci.

- Curiosità:
An insatiably curious approach to life and an unrelenting
quest for continuous learning.
- Dimostrazione:
A commitment to test knowledge through experience,
persistence, and a willingness to learn from mistakes.
Self awareness.
- Sensazione:
The continual refinement of the senses, especially
sight, as the means to enliven experience.
- Sfumato ["Going up in Smoke"]:
A willingness to embrace ambiguity, paradox, and
uncertainty. Learning to trust your instincts and
getting comfortable with contradictory ideas.
- Arte/Scienza:
The development of the balance between science and
art, logic and imagination. WholeBrain
thinking.
- Corporalita:
The cultivation of grace, ambidexterity, fitness,
and poise. Taking care of the physical body.
- Connessione:
A recognition of and appreciation for the interconnectedness
of all things and phenomena. Systems thinking.
